OptoSpan 10G Duplex X2 transceivers are intended for high capacity, long distance transmissions, with speeds up to 10Gbps. OptoSpan offers X2 300m with distances spanning up to 80 kilometers. Available in 10GBase, OptoSpan offers 8 different X2 Transceivers ideal for a wide range of Datacom/Telecom switch & router connections and applications. Two lines of of X2 modules are available based on compatability: Standard X2 modules are compatible for use with brands such as Finisar, Avago, JDSU, and other generic brands, and Platinum OEM Series transceivers which are 10GBase, X2 Cisco Compatible transceivers, and are designed for specific compatibility requirements such as Cisco, Brocade, Juniper, Alcatel, HP, Nortel, EMC, QLogic, and other OEM networks. Other OptoSpan X2 transceivers include Single Fiber X2, CWDM X2, and DWDM X2.
10G Duplex X2 Technical Features
OptoSpan X2 transceivers are X2 MSA, IEEE 802.3ae/q/k & ROHS compliant, and feature 2-Wire Interface Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (SFF-8724). Duplex X2 Transceivers are available in 8G/10G speeds and operate a distances up to 80km. Available in the following applications: 10GBASE-SR X2, 10GBASE-LR X2, 10GBASE-ER X2, and 10GBASE-ZR X2. All OptoSpan X2 modules are tested and certified in brand specific networks and target applications and assembled using the highest quality raw components available.
