OptoSpan CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) transceivers transmit multiple data channels using separate optical wavelengths onto a single fiber to increase network capacity for a fiber optical transceiver module. CWDM X2 transceivers provide data rates of up to 10G and reach a distance of up to 80 kilometers. Available in Cisco compatibility for Platinum series modules and generic OEM compatibility for Standard series. Other OptoSpan X2 transceivers include 10G Duplex X2, Single Fiber X2, and DWDM X2.
CWDM X2 Technical Features
OptoSpan CWDM X2 transceivers are X2 MSA, IEEE 802.3ae/q/k & ROHS compliant, and feature 2-Wire Interface Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (SFF-8724). Duplex X2 Transceivers are available in 10G speeds and operate a distances up to 80km. All OptoSpan CWDM X2 modules are tested and certified in brand specific networks and target applications and assembled using the highest quality raw components available.
