OptoSpan XFP CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) transceivers transmit multiple data channels using separate optical wavelengths onto a single fiber to increase network capacity for a fiber optical transceiver module. 10G CWDM XFP transceiver modules have a reach of up to 80km. OptoSpan’s platinum series are Cisco XFP Transceiver Module compatible and also are available in standard OEM compatibility. Other OptoSpan XFP transceivers include 10G XFP, Single Fiber XFP, DWDM XFP, Tunable XFP.
CWDM XFP Technical Features
All OptoSpan CWDM XFP Transceivers are SFF-8724, IEEE 802.3ae & ROHS compliant, feature 2-Wire Interface Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (SFF-8724) and are tested for applications such as 10G Ethernet and Fibre Channel. OptoSpan offers 8 different CWDM XFP transceivers with distances of 10km, 40km, and 80km at for 10G and SONET OC-192 / STM-64 applications.
