OptoSpan Single Fiber Bidirectional SFP+ transceivers use simplex single-mode fiber to double the bandwidth without the cost. These hot-swappable single fiber transceivers provide data rates of 10G and distance up to 160 kilometers. Designed for bi-directional 10G serial optical data communications such as Ethernet and Fibre Channel. BiDi SFP+ Cisco compatible and many other OEM compatible modules are available. Other OptoSpan SFP+ transceivers include 10G/8G SFP+, CWDM SFP+, and DWDM SFP+.

All OptoSpan SFP+ BiDi transceivers are SFF-8431, SFF-8432 & ROHS compliant, feature 2-Wire Interface Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (SFF-8724) and are exclusive Japanese OSAs for Ultimate Reliability.
