OptoSpan premium QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable) transceiver modules are designed or high-density fiber optic network applications, providing four channels of data into one pluggable interface. QSFP+ Multimode and QSFP+ Single mode provide data rates of up to 40G and span distances of up to 10 kilometers, intended for use with short reach standard duplex equipment. Other OptoSpan 40G & 100G transceivers include CFP Transceivers and CFP Converter.
OptoSpan offers two lines of QSFP+ transceiver modules for different compatibility:
Standard series transceivers are compatible for use with brands such as Finisar, Avago, JDSU, and other generic brands. Cisco compatible 40G QSFP Modules are also available in our Platinum OEM Series QSFP+ transceivers that are designed for specific compatibility requirements such as Cisco, Brocade, Juniper, Alcatel, HP, Nortel, EMC, QLogic, and other OEM networks.
QSFP+ Technical Features
All OptoSpan 40G QSFP Transceivers are RoHS compliant, 2-Wire Interface Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (SFF-8724) and designed to meet Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards for QSFP+ transceivers with LC interface.
