Overview:
OptoSpan Multimode OM1 fiber on bulk spool featuring its relatively larger 62.5/125 micron fiber core/clad diameter is typically used for reliable 1Gb fiber optic networks. OM1 bulk fiber spool is designed for light to medium duty indoor applications and largely supports applications ranging from Ethernet to Gigabit Ethernet to data-center racks and desktop/network connections. OptoSpan OM1 fiber spools are offered in PVC/ Riser (OFNR) rated, or Plenum (OFNP) rated insulation multi-fiber strand (6, 12, 24, 48, 72, 96 and 144 fiber) spools in Standard configuration, protective SteelPatch Armored fiber jacket, and Bend-Insensitive fiber. OptoSpan multi-fiber OM1 bulk fiber spool provides a value based cabling solution where custom length fiber or field-proven terminations are needed.

Bulk Multimode OM1 fiber spools are fully tested to deliver reliable performance. OptoSpan OM1 multi-fiber bulk spools are largely deployed in data centers or network cabling environments for on-premises legacy applications. Multimode OM1 62.5/125 fiber cables were developed for 1Gb network links.
