OptoSpan Single Fiber BiDirectional (BiDi) X2 transceivers use simplex single-mode fiber to double the bandwidth without the cost. These hot-swappable single fiber transceivers provide data rates of 10G and distance up to 60 kilometers. Available in Cisco compatibility for Platinum series modules and generic OEM compatibility for Standard series. OptoSpan offers 16 different X2 Single Mode BiDi transceivers ideal for a wide array of Datacom/Telecom switch & router connections and applications. Other OptoSpan X2 transceivers include 10G Duplex X2, CWDM X2, and DWDM X2.
Single Fiber X2 Technical Features
OptoSpan X2 BiDi transceivers are X2 MSA, IEEE 802.3ae/q/k & ROHS compliant, and feature 2-Wire Interface Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (SFF-8724). Duplex X2 Transceivers are available in 10G speeds and operate a distances up to 60km. All OptoSpan X2 BiDi modules are tested and certified in brand specific networks and target applications and assembled using the highest quality raw components available.
