OptoSpan’s MPO 12 and 24 fiber MPO cables feature the new and exclusive FiberShield design. Comprised of a stronger 4.5mm cable structure with an additional layer of Kevlar and 3 times the protective jacket. As a result, FiberShield cables are 5 times stronger rather than the ordinary 3.0 mm cable.
Available in alternative jacketing, such as Plenum rated insulation or Armored jacket. The MPO fiber cable brings high performing and reliable technologies in the most cost-effective manner. Because of protective jacketing such as the Armored series, these cables may be installed in harsh environments. Otherwise unsuitable to traditional fiber assemblies. The Plenum material meets building regulations for fire-retardant materials. While the Bend Insensitive fiber permits installation around tight corners. Which may otherwise damage the fiber optics and create light leakage.

These Riser (OFNR) rated MPO to MPO patch cords contain a 50/125 micron core for 40G optical network links. OM3 fiber MPO patch cords provide a value based solution for innovative network improvements.
Multimode OM2 fiber MPO fiber cables featuring 50/125 micron fiber core/cladding diameter with 8-144 fibers ranging distances up to 150 meters. These Riser (OFNR) rated MPO to MPO cables contain twice the distance capacity of OM1 fibers for light to medium duty data center racks and network connections.
